This 3D medical animation shows a human brain within a transparent skull, showing the center areas 'glowing' with activity. The camera then zooms into a neuron cluster and then further into an individual neuron. Electrical impulses transmitting across nerve cells, or neurons. From within a vast matrix of neurons we see bright flashes representing impulses traveling across the axons, dendrites, and cell bodies of the neurons.
